The project consisted of the conversion of a 4-story museum into a 5-story, 35-room hotel with ground floor retail. The project scope included the demolition of most interior spaces, new layouts, and new building core systems.

The exterior envelope consists of limestone façade and coping with new metal panel sections at the 4- story front window sections, which are to remain. The guardrail at the parapet also is to remain. The 5th floor addition (three suites) will consist of a stone panel façade, metal coping, and a terrace patio. The east, west, and south elevations will consist mainly of a brick façade with new window groups added. Central portions of these elevations will contain the same panel configurations as the front elevation, with terrace patio sections at the 2nd floor. Window types shown include casement, picture, and single hung, along with glass panel swinging patio doors.

The floor plans include a basement for a future tenant buildout, a 1st floor setup for hotel access and two retail spaces, and the 2nd 5th floors will contain the 1- to 3-room suite configurations with one or two bedrooms. Basement rehab work consists of partial demolition, including of the staircases leading up to the upper floors. The remainder of the space will remain as-is until a future tenant buildout.

The suites will include a full bathroom with shower, toilet, and vanity, a stackable washer/dryer in closet, a kitchenette with base and wall cabinets, a refrigerator, range, trash cabinet, kitchen sink, and dishwasher, open to a main living space, and one to two bedrooms with reach-in closets. Certain suites include an alternate for a loft space above with two possible additional bed spaces.
